Apply directly via a brand's public page

Use a brand's branded subdomain signup URL to apply outside the network.

Some brands run public application pages. The URL looks like:

https://{brand}.rekomi.com/{campaign-slug}

A brand might link to this URL from their pricing page footer, share it on Twitter, send it to you directly, or list it on their blog. Anyone with the URL can apply, no Rekomi account required up front.

What the page shows

  • Brand name and campaign name
  • Campaign description
  • Commission type and value
  • Cookie window
  • Attribution model (FirstTouch or LastTouch)
  • A short application form

Apply

Fill in the form:

  • Email (required): where the approval or rejection email goes.
  • Full name (required)
  • Website (recommended): your portfolio, blog, or main social profile.
  • Audience: a sentence about who follows you.
  • Why interested: a sentence about why this product fits your audience.
  • Custom alias (optional): a 3-64 character alphanumeric slug you want for your tracking URL. If you skip, Rekomi generates one.

Submit. The brand gets the application in their dashboard.

What happens next

Two paths depending on the campaign's autoApprove setting:

autoApprove = false (default)

Your application lands in the brand's queue. They review and either approve or reject. Email arrives at the address you provided with the outcome.

If approved, the email contains:

  • Your referral slug (the one you use across every campaign), added to links as ?via=your-slug
  • A link to sign in to your Rekomi affiliate dashboard

If rejected, you may get an optional reason.

autoApprove = true

Instant approval. You get the approval email immediately, with the same content as above. No human review.

Sign in

Click the dashboard link in the email. If you do not already have a Rekomi account at that email, you sign up via Clerk. Your existing Affiliate row gets bound to the new Clerk identity (one-time email-claim flow).

From there, your direct application is treated identically to a network application: it shows up in /a under your campaigns.

Custom alias

If you're new to Rekomi and the brand allowed it, the custom alias you pick when applying becomes your account-level referral slug, the one you use everywhere (jane-recommends instead of a random x7y9z2). If you already have a Rekomi affiliate account, you keep your existing slug; new applications use it automatically.

Custom aliases must be:

  • 3-64 characters
  • Alphanumeric or hyphens only
  • Globally unique (it's your account identity)

If the alias is taken or invalid, Rekomi assigns a random one. You can change your slug once from Settings.

Multiple campaigns

A direct application is per campaign. If you want to join multiple campaigns (from the same brand or different brands), apply to each. Your Rekomi affiliate account, including your one referral slug, is shared across all of them; only the per-campaign approval differs. You use the same ?via=your-slug everywhere.

Versus the network

Direct application gives you no pre-vetting on the brand. Some {brand}.rekomi.com/{campaign} signup pages belong to brand-new, unvetted products. Always read the terms link before applying. If anything feels off (commission structure that punishes long-tail revenue, no support link, sketchy domain), skip.
