The Best Stripe Affiliate Software in 2026 (I Started Inside Stripe’s Marketplace)

The Best Stripe Affiliate Software in 2026 (I Started Inside Stripe’s Marketplace)

When you search for Stripe affiliate software, the first result usually isn’t a review site at all. It’s Stripe’s own App Marketplace, and honestly, that’s the right instinct: Stripe keeps a dedicated “Affiliate and referrals” category, every app in it went through Stripe’s review process, and 27 apps sat in that category when I checked this morning. So that’s exactly where I started this comparison.

Heads-up before the rankings: I built Rekomi, including the Stripe app you’ll meet at #1, so weigh my scoring however you like. To keep myself honest, I opened every tool’s live pricing page today and checked every marketplace listing while writing this. Anything I couldn’t verify didn’t make the page.

And instead of re-running the generic feature checklist of dashboards, links, and commission rules, I judged all seven tools on their Stripe mechanics: whether they’re on the marketplace, how they hear about your sales, whether they can mint coupon codes inside your Stripe account, and who actually sends your affiliates their money. That’s the plumbing that decides how the next 12 months of your program feel.

Skim this first: my top three.

Rekomi: on the Stripe App Marketplace, $29 to $99/mo, and it runs payouts and tax forms for you (flat 3% on what affiliates earn).

PromoteKit: the budget Stripe-only pick. Free until your first 3 referrals, then $29/mo.

Rewardful: the incumbent most Stripe SaaS teams try first. $49/mo, coupon tracking, Stripe and Paddle only.

Start where Stripe sends you: the App Marketplace

Here’s a judging dimension I haven’t seen another comparison use, and I think it’s the single most useful one: is the tool actually on Stripe’s App Marketplace, or does it just integrate over the API?

Stripe App Marketplace affiliate and referrals category, where Stripe affiliate software apps are listed

A marketplace listing means Stripe reviewed the app before letting it in, the install runs through scoped permissions you approve up front, and the app can surface right inside your Stripe Dashboard instead of living in a separate tab. It’s not a guarantee of quality (and skipping it isn’t a red flag by itself), but it tells you the vendor committed to Stripe as a first-class platform rather than one more webhook source.

Of the seven tools below, six are on the marketplace: Rekomi, PromoteKit, Rewardful, FirstPromoter, Partnero, and Trackdesk. Tolt is the one absence; it connects over the Stripe API instead. Rekomi’s app goes a step further than most by showing affiliate attribution directly on your Customer and Invoice views (I wrote up how that works in the Rekomi Stripe app announcement).

By the way, if what you actually wanted is the setup walkthrough covering tracking methods, commission rules, and launch steps, that lives in my Stripe affiliate program guide. This page is purely about choosing the software.

The six Stripe mechanics that did the judging

So how do you separate 27 apps that all promise roughly the same dashboard? You judge the plumbing. These are the six mechanics I scored every tool on:

  • Marketplace presence. Covered above: reviewed by Stripe, scoped permissions, dashboard surfaces.
  • How it hears about a sale. The good tools listen to Stripe webhooks (events like checkout.session.completed and invoice.paid) in real time, so commissions and refund reversals land the moment Stripe fires them. Anything that polls the API on a schedule will always be a step behind.
  • Coupon minting. The mechanic I enjoy most. Here’s how it works: the software creates a promotion code directly in your Stripe account and ties it to an affiliate, so “SARAH20” tracks the sale even when nobody clicks a link. Some tools create the codes for you; others only track codes you make by hand.
  • Who runs payout day. Most tools stop at a CSV you upload to PayPal. A few automate the sending. Exactly one on this list also collects the W-9s and W-8BENs so tax season isn’t your problem.
  • One-time vs subscription handling. Recurring commissions, upgrades, proration, and refunds that claw the commission back. Subscription math is where cheap trackers quietly leak money.
  • The exit door. Some of these tools are Stripe-only. That’s fine until the day you add or switch billing providers, at which point your whole program, affiliates and history included, either moves with you or doesn’t.

The best Stripe affiliate software, ranked

1. Rekomi

Rekomi listing on the Stripe App Marketplace: manage affiliate commissions and approvals in Stripe

Rekomi treats Stripe as a home, not an integration. The marketplace app puts affiliate attribution on your Customer and Invoice views and lets you approve commissions without leaving the Stripe Dashboard, which is a workflow I haven’t seen anywhere else in the category.

Stripe wiring: marketplace app plus real-time webhook ingestion, first-party tracking on your own domain, and coupon minting that literally creates the promotion code in your Stripe account (an affiliate picks a code in their portal, and it exists in Stripe a moment later). One-time payments and subscriptions both work, refunds reverse commissions automatically, and the Stripe affiliate integration sets up without code.

Price today: $29, $49, or $99/mo with a 14-day trial, plus a flat 3% on affiliate payouts; the current numbers are on the pricing page. That 3% isn’t a tracking fee – it’s what makes payouts and tax paperwork somebody else’s job.

Strongest card: the payout rail. Affiliates get paid in 165+ countries (Stripe Express in 42, bank deposits in 60 more, PayPal in 66 more), and W-9/W-8 collection is built in rather than sold as an add-on.

The catch: Rekomi is newer than the incumbents, so there are fewer public reviews to lean on, and payouts flow through Rekomi by design (that’s what makes the done-for-you model possible).

Better pick when: honestly, a rival wins when you want the absolute lowest bill and you’re happy running payout day yourself. That’s the next tool down.

2. PromoteKit

PromoteKit homepage: affiliate software built for Stripe

PromoteKit‘s homepage headline is “Affiliate Software built for Stripe,” and the product backs it up. It’s Stripe-exclusive on purpose, it’s on the marketplace, and it wears a Stripe Verified Partner badge.

Stripe wiring: three setup paths depending on how technical you are: a script that tracks Stripe Payment Links, metadata passed through your own API calls, or a genuinely no-code path where auto-generated coupon codes do all the tracking.

Price today: free for your first 3 referrals, then $29/mo up to $10,000/mo in affiliate-driven revenue, with no transaction fees on top.

Strongest card: the on-ramp. A free plan that only asks for money once affiliates deliver is a very fair deal for a program that might not work out.

The catch: payouts are yours to send over PayPal or Wise, tax forms are yours to chase, and Stripe-only cuts both ways: if your billing ever moves, the program doesn’t move with it.

Better pick when: you’re validating the channel. Zero risk to try, and $29 is the cheapest paid plan on this page.

3. Rewardful

Rewardful homepage: all-in-one affiliate management software with native Stripe integration

Rewardful is the tool most Stripe SaaS founders try first, and that familiarity is worth real money: plenty of affiliates already know its portal. Their homepage counts 3,000+ teams, and the marketplace listing carries a Stripe Premier Partner badge.

Stripe wiring: a clean OAuth connect, solid subscription and refund handling, and coupon code tracking. Their pricing page says it plainly: “We currently support only Stripe or Paddle.”

Price today: $49/mo up to $7,500/mo in affiliate revenue, $99/mo to $15,000, then $149+ for Enterprise, all with a 14-day trial.

Strongest card: maturity. The docs, the integrations, and the years of Stripe edge cases already handled make it a super safe default for pure tracking.

The catch: the revenue-capped tiers climb quickly once the program works, and payouts stay manual: PayPal and Wise mass pay files, with tax forms on you.

Better pick when: you want the most battle-tested pure Stripe tracker and payout day doesn’t scare you.

Funny enough, the next tool starts at the same $49 as Rewardful, so between the two incumbents the price is a wash. What actually separates them is what happens to coupon codes.

4. FirstPromoter

FirstPromoter is the coupon specialist of this list. It’s on the marketplace, and its pricing page is refreshingly concrete about the Stripe mechanics: “Auto create coupons in Stripe,” multiple tracking coupons per affiliate, and affiliates who can bring their own promotion code.

Stripe wiring: works with Stripe, Paddle, and Chargebee. Beyond the coupon automation, it offers one-click Stripe payouts and a managed auto-payout option, which is more payout help than most trackers give you.

Price today: $49/mo up to $5,000/mo in affiliate revenue, $99/mo to $15,000, $149+ above that, with a 14-day trial and W-9/W-8BEN collection included from the bottom tier.

Strongest card: influencer-style programs where codes matter more than links. Nobody else here does coupon workflows this thoroughly.

The catch: the $5,000 cap on the entry tier is the tightest on this page, so plan on the $99 tier arriving sooner than you’d like.

Better pick when: your affiliates live on Instagram and TikTok, where “use my code” beats “click my link” every time.

One observation before the last three: everything above this line is on Stripe’s marketplace. The next tool is the deliberate exception, and it’s worth understanding why that’s mostly fine.

5. Tolt

Tolt is the one quality tool here that skipped the marketplace; it connects to Stripe over the API instead. That costs it dashboard presence, not capability. The tracking itself is modern and the product is well liked in the SaaS crowd.

Stripe wiring: Stripe and Paddle only (their FAQ states it directly), with script-based tracking and double-sided coupon rewards on every paid plan.

Price today: $69/mo up to $10,000 in affiliate revenue, $99/mo to $20,000, $199/mo to $50,000, each with a 14-day trial.

Strongest card: from the $99 tier up, Tolt automates payouts (PayPal, Wise, bank, even crypto) for a 2% processing fee and handles W-9/W-8 collection with 1099 filing. Outside Rekomi, that’s the most complete payout-and-tax story on this list.

The catch: the $69 entry price is the highest of the starter tiers, the entry tier keeps payouts manual, and the 2% payout fee stacks on top of the subscription.

Better pick when: you want payout and tax automation but insist that every dollar leaves from accounts you control.

6. Partnero

Partnero is the structural oddball, in a good way: no revenue caps at all. Every plan includes unlimited partners, transactions, and revenue, which makes it the only tool here whose bill doesn’t grow just because your program succeeds.

Stripe wiring: on the marketplace, with Stripe and Paddle for billing plus Shopify and WooCommerce for commerce, and even newsletter referral programs if you run one of those on the side.

Price today: $59/mo billed monthly ($49/mo annual), one program on the entry tier, and a 30-day trial (the longest on this list!).

Strongest card: predictable pricing at scale. A program pushing $40,000/mo pays the same subscription as one pushing $4,000.

The catch: managed payouts cost a 7% processing fee, so in practice you’ll want to send money from your own PayPal or Wise accounts, and the entry tier caps you at a single program.

Better pick when: your affiliate revenue is big enough that every revenue-capped rival keeps nudging you into enterprise tiers.

7. Trackdesk

I went back and forth on whether Trackdesk still belongs on a list like this, and decided it does, with a big asterisk: its pricing page today starts at $329/mo on annual billing, which puts it in a different weight class from everything above.

Stripe wiring: on the marketplace, with coupon tracking, capped at 100 codes on the Business plan, and unlimited clicks and conversions on every tier.

Price today: Business at $329/mo covers up to $30,000/mo in program revenue, and Enterprise runs $499/mo; both of those are the annually-billed rates (the page’s toggle defaults to yearly, so budget a bit more if you’d rather pay month to month). No free plan appears anywhere on the current pricing page, and the trial is a 14-day assisted one.

Strongest card: raw breadth. Offers, an affiliate marketplace, white label, a full API: it’s built for teams running affiliate operations at scale, where a single program is the smallest unit.

The catch: at $329/mo it’s overkill for a single SaaS program, and the coupon cap on the entry plan is oddly tight for the price.

Better pick when: you’re running multiple brands or an actual affiliate network. For one Stripe program, the six tools above fit better.

The math on a $10,000 month

I love this part of the research, because the pricing models only make sense side by side on real numbers. The setup: your affiliates drive $10,000/mo in Stripe revenue and you pay a 20% commission, so you owe them $2,000/mo.

  • PromoteKit: $29 (sitting exactly at its Pro cap), and payout day is yours.
  • Partnero: $59, payouts from your own PayPal or Wise.
  • Tolt: $69 with manual payouts, or $99 + 2% of $2,000 = $139 automated.
  • Rekomi: $29 + 3% of $2,000 = $89, with payouts sent and tax forms collected for you.
  • Rewardful: $99 (the $49 tier caps at $7,500).
  • FirstPromoter: $99 (the $49 tier caps at $5,000).
  • Trackdesk: $329, and that’s the annual-billing rate.

The spread: $29 to $329 for the exact same program – more than a 10x difference! But the cheap end buys you tracking only, and the middle buys tracking plus operations. So the real question isn’t “which is cheapest,” it’s “who’s running payout day.” If the answer is you, PromoteKit’s $29 is a legitimate bargain. If you’d rather never open a mass-pay CSV or chase a W-8BEN again, the $89 with everything handled is the number I’d anchor on, and you can judge for yourself whether your time comes out ahead.

Which one for your Stripe stack

Seven honest matches, one line each:

  • Just validating the channel: PromoteKit, because free-until-it-works is the right price for an experiment.
  • Want the program to run itself: Rekomi, payouts and tax forms included.
  • Want the most familiar tracker: Rewardful, the safe incumbent.
  • Coupon-first influencer program: FirstPromoter, nobody does codes better.
  • Payout automation from your own accounts: Tolt on the $99 tier.
  • Outgrowing every revenue cap: Partnero, unlimited by design.
  • Multiple brands or a network: Trackdesk, priced accordingly.

And if Stripe is only one of the places you bill, or you’re choosing for a broader stack, I ranked the same field through a wider lens in my best affiliate software for SaaS comparison.

The questions worth asking before you commit

Does Stripe have affiliate tracking built in?

No. Stripe gives you the raw ingredients (metadata, promotion codes, webhooks) but no referral links, no affiliate portal, and no commission engine. That’s exactly why the App Marketplace has a whole affiliate category: Stripe expects you to add this layer.

Is there a free affiliate software for Stripe?

Yes. PromoteKit is free until your first 3 referrals, and a few marketplace apps (Endorsely, for example) market free tiers. Free plans are great for validation; just check what happens to the price once the program actually works, because that’s where the models diverge fast.

Does installing a Stripe App hand the vendor my whole account?

No. Marketplace apps request scoped permissions that Stripe shows you at install time (read customers, read invoices, and so on), and you can review or remove the app from your dashboard whenever you like. That permission screen is genuinely worth reading once; it tells you a lot about how the tool works.

Can affiliate software create coupon codes in my Stripe account?

Yes, the better ones can. Rekomi mints promotion codes directly into your Stripe account, FirstPromoter auto-creates coupons in Stripe, and PromoteKit auto-generates codes as affiliates onboard, and Partnero syncs codes you create there into your Stripe account. Tools without minting still track codes, but you create each one by hand first.

What happens to my program if I ever leave Stripe?

Your program only moves if your software does. PromoteKit is Stripe-exclusive, and Rewardful and Tolt stop at Stripe plus Paddle. Rekomi supports 12 billing rails and Partnero covers Stripe, Paddle, Shopify, and WooCommerce, so those programs survive a billing migration with affiliates and history intact. It’s 100% worth thinking about before you invest a year in recruiting.

Let the marketplace settle it

Here’s the nice thing about this niche: you don’t have to take my word, or anyone’s. Open the marketplace’s affiliate category, pick one or two tools from this page, connect a test-mode Stripe account, and run a single checkout through an affiliate link. Twenty minutes of clicking beats two hours of review reading, and you’ll feel the difference between the tools immediately.

If you want the one where that test sale also triggers a real payout pipeline, start with Rekomi’s listing on the Stripe App Marketplace – the trial is 14 days, and the first tracked conversion shows up right on your Stripe Customer view.
