Stripe acquired Lemon Squeezy in 2024, and the platform's long-term roadmap is Stripe's call, not yours. Rekomi is your migration insurance: Stripe is Rekomi's deepest native integration, so moving your billing to Stripe means flipping the connection, not rebuilding the program. Affiliates, campaigns, commission history, tracked links, and the payout rail all carry over unchanged.
How do affiliates get credited when Lemon Squeezy hosts the checkout?
The referral travels in the order's custom data. The Rekomi head script captures the click in a first-party cookie; you stamp window.Rekomi.getReferral() onto every checkout link as checkout[custom][rekomi_ref] (a drop-in snippet covers Buy buttons, pricing links, and the Lemon.js overlay), and server-created checkouts pass it in checkout_data.custom. Rekomi reads rekomi_ref off the order and matches the affiliate.
Are subscription renewals and partial refunds handled?
Yes. Every successful renewal payment records a recurring conversion, so revshare keeps accruing for the life of the subscription. Refunds, full or partial, claw the commission back proportionally in the same audit trail as the original conversion, and the initial subscription order is de-duplicated against the first payment event so nothing is ever double counted.
Can I run Lemon Squeezy alongside another billing connection?
