Dodo Payments affiliate program software, connected in one paste.
Dodo Payments is a Merchant of Record for digital products and SaaS, with checkout in more than 80 local currencies, and Rekomi supports it natively with the shortest setup of any webhook rail: one paste. You give Rekomi a full-access API key, and Rekomi validates it live, creates the webhook endpoint in your Dodo Payments account itself, and fetches the signing secret for you. From then on payments, subscription renewals, refunds, and disputes credit and debit the right affiliate automatically, with nothing to paste back and no relay code to write.
One paste, and every Dodo Payments charge finds its affiliate.
Create a full-access API key under Developer > API Keys in Dodo Payments, paste it into Rekomi, and click Connect. Rekomi validates the key live, creates the webhook endpoint at Dodo pointed at your per-workspace URL with exactly the events it needs, and fetches the endpoint's signing secret itself; if either half fails, nothing is left behind. There is no webhook form to fill in and no secret to copy, and a read-only key fails the connect with an error naming exactly why: Dodo's read-only keys cannot create webhooks.
Dodo Payments hosts the checkout, so the referral travels in metadata. Install the head script; if you create checkouts via Dodo's API, set metadata.rekomi_ref from window.Rekomi.getReferral() on the checkout, subscription, or payment request, and if you sell through static payment links, decorate them with the flat ?metadata_rekomi_ref= param (the underscore form Dodo copies into the payment's metadata). Subscription metadata persists for the life of the subscription.
Every charge arrives as one payment.succeeded event, first charges and renewals alike, and records at the amount the customer actually paid, tax included, because Dodo's refunds and disputes are tax-inclusive too. Partial refunds claw back their share, full refunds claw back everything remaining, and disputes claw back the moment they open, all in the same audit trail.
The webhook is the pipeline, so Rekomi builds and verifies it.
Every delivery from Dodo Payments is signed with the standard-webhooks scheme, an HMAC over the delivery id, timestamp, and body with a 300-second freshness window, and Rekomi verifies it before anything is processed, failing closed on anything malformed. That is why this rail never needs to read your sales back through the API: the signed webhook is the whole money pipeline. After connect, the full-access key does nothing but manage the webhook endpoint and run a health check every 30 minutes, and you never see or handle the signing secret at all; Rekomi fetches it directly and stores it encrypted at rest.
Affiliate tracking that matches how Dodo Payments actually charges.
The only one-paste connect
Every other affiliate integration shipped for Dodo Payments has you create the webhook by hand in Dodo's dashboard and paste the signing key back. Rekomi creates the endpoint programmatically, fetches the secret itself, and deletes the endpoint again on disconnect; the whole setup is one paste, and nothing travels back.
Signed events, no readbacks
Every delivery is verified with the standard-webhooks scheme, HMAC over the delivery id, timestamp, and body with a 300-second freshness window, failing closed on anything malformed. The signed webhook is the whole money pipeline: no API readbacks, no polling, no trust in unsigned payloads.
Every charge, one event
All money keys off payment.succeeded: first charges, renewals, plan changes, and recovery charges record at what the customer was actually charged, with renewals inferred from subscription history, so recurring commission accrues for the life of the customer with no lifecycle glue code.
Refunds and disputes claw back
Partial refunds are first-class: each claws back its share, capped so multiple partials never claw past the original commission. Disputes claw back the moment they open, and a dispute you later win is logged rather than silently re-crediting, so the decision stays yours.
Real payouts, tax handled
Tracking is half the job; the other half is money leaving the building correctly. Rekomi runs payouts on real payout rails with tax handling, approval and anti-fraud checks before anything moves, and per-campaign minimums, for 3% of payouts.
80+ currencies, honestly
Dodo's Adaptive Currency presents local prices worldwide. Major currencies record normally; an amount in a currency Rekomi does not support is skipped and flagged rather than guessed at, so a commission is never computed on a mangled number. Stripe, Paddle, Creem, and more are native alongside.

Common Dodo Payments questions.
Is the Dodo Payments integration native?
Yes, and it is a one-paste connect: you give Rekomi a full-access API key, and Rekomi validates it live, creates the webhook endpoint in your Dodo Payments account itself, and fetches the signing secret for you; there is no webhook form to fill in and nothing to paste back. Payments, subscription renewals, refunds, and disputes are recorded automatically, and disconnecting deletes the endpoint at Dodo again. Rekomi also health-checks the key and the endpoint every 30 minutes and emails you if either needs attention.
Rekomi asks for a full-access key. Why, and what does it do with it?
Because Dodo's read-only keys cannot create webhooks, and creating the webhook for you is the whole point of the one-paste setup; a read-only key fails the connect with an error naming exactly that. After connect, the key is used only to manage the webhook endpoint and run a periodic read-only health check. Your sales never travel through it; they arrive on the signed webhook, verified with the standard-webhooks scheme before anything is processed. The key and the signing secret are stored encrypted at rest and never returned by the API, and disconnecting deletes the endpoint at Dodo and wipes both.
Which affiliate platforms actually integrate with Dodo Payments?
Affonso and Dub Partners, and no incumbent heavyweight: Rewardful, Tolt, and FirstPromoter are Stripe, Paddle, and Chargebee shops with no Dodo Payments support at all. Every integration shipped so far is an API-key paste plus a webhook you create by hand in Dodo's dashboard; Rekomi's is the only one-paste connect, where the webhook is created programmatically and the signing secret is fetched for you. On money mechanics, Rekomi keys all commission off payment.succeeded, the event that reports what the customer was actually charged, claws back per refund and at dispute open, and is the only one of the three that also runs your payouts, on real payout rails with tax handling.
How do affiliates get credited when Dodo Payments hosts the checkout?
The referral travels in checkout metadata. The Rekomi head script captures the affiliate click in a first-party cookie; if you create checkouts through Dodo's API, set metadata.rekomi_ref from window.Rekomi.getReferral() on the checkout, subscription, or payment request. If you sell through static payment links, decorate them with the flat param ?metadata_rekomi_ref= (note the underscore form; Dodo copies metadata_key=value query params into the payment's metadata, unlike the bracket form some other platforms use). Subscription metadata persists for the life of the subscription, and Rekomi also falls back to the customer's attribution history, so renewals credit the same affiliate.
Are renewals, refunds, and disputes handled?
Yes, and the mechanics are stated plainly. Every charge arrives as one payment.succeeded event: first charges, renewals, plan-change charges, and recovery charges all record at the amount actually charged, with initial versus renewal inferred from whether Rekomi has seen the subscription before. Refunds claw back per refund: a partial claws back the refunded share, multiple partials keep clawing until the original commission is exhausted and never past it, and a full refund reported without an amount is treated as everything remaining, the safe reading. Disputes claw back the disputed money the moment the dispute opens; if you later win, the commission is not restored automatically, the win is logged so you can adjust deliberately.
What does the affiliate earn on, with tax in the mix?
The charge amount including tax, and the rationale is precise: Dodo Payments reports charges tax-inclusive, and its refunds and disputes are tax-inclusive too, so this is the only basis where a full refund claws back exactly what was credited. Your affiliates earn on what the customer actually paid, and the credit and the clawback always speak the same units.
Dodo Payments sells in 80+ currencies. What happens to those?
Honest handling, stated up front. Dodo's Adaptive Currency can present more than 80 local currencies at checkout, which is more than Rekomi's supported-currency list covers. Sales in the major currencies (USD, EUR, GBP, and the rest of Rekomi's list) record normally; a payment, refund, or dispute in a currency Rekomi does not support is skipped and flagged rather than guessed at, so a commission is never computed on a mangled amount. If a meaningful share of your sales settles in an unsupported currency, say so; the list is expandable.
How are test mode and live mode kept apart?
By construction. Dodo's test mode is a separate host with its own keys and its own webhooks, and Rekomi rejects test-mode credentials on a production connection with a clear error before anything is stored. Events are additionally checked against the connected business before anything records, so a test event can never book production money.
Can I run Dodo Payments alongside another billing connection?
No; Rekomi enforces one conversion source of truth per workspace so the same sale is never recorded twice. Pick one rail for Dodo Payments sales and keep it; if you genuinely sell on two platforms, run them as separate workspaces. One precise edge: if you process through your own Stripe account behind Dodo's checkout (BYOP), the Dodo rail is the one to connect, because Dodo is the platform reporting those charges.
