The modern Trackdesk alternative
for subscription businesses.
Trackdesk is a Prague-built, network-grade affiliate tracker: deep S2S postbacks, ad click-ID capture, an offer marketplace, iGaming editions, and a genuinely fast ship rate (their claim: 70+ features in 2025 alone). It is also the platform whose free-until-revenue plan no longer exists: as of our fact-check the cheapest published plan is $329/mo, after the free tier and the $67 Starter were both retired within about fifteen months. Rekomi is the subscription-native alternative at $19-99 flat with payouts, tax, and fraud included. If Trackdesk's pricing moves are why you are here, the documented history is below.
When to pick which.
You are a SaaS or subscription brand, not an ad network. You want an affiliate program with managed payouts, W-9 collection, and a year-end 1099-NEC worksheet ready for your accountant, fraud screening that scores IP reputation including proxies and VPNs, coupon attribution without caps, and a price that reads like a SaaS tool: $19 to $99 flat plus 3% of payouts, instead of a $329 entry gated by tracked program revenue with unpublished tiers above $30K a month.
You run performance marketing at network scale: media buyers, S2S postbacks everywhere, gclid and fbclid capture, multi-currency offers, an offer marketplace, maybe an iGaming vertical. Trackdesk's tracking depth, traffic-control rulesets, and 365-day configurable attribution genuinely serve that world, and unlimited affiliates, clicks, and conversions on every plan means volume itself is never the bill.

How we keep this honest
Every row reflects real product behavior on the date above. We update this page when either product ships material changes. Nothing here is invented to make Rekomi look better.
Which one fits your situation.
Affiliate platforms are not one-size-fits-all. Here is a straight read on which tool wins for each profile we see.
SaaS or subscription brand under $30K/mo in program revenue
At this scale you would pay Trackdesk $329/mo for tracking, then still run payouts yourself and handle tax forms. Rekomi at $19-39 flat plus 3% of payouts includes the rail, the 1099-NECs, the fraud layer, and the network: roughly a tenth of the software cost with more of the job done.
Performance-marketing team running media buyers and postback-driven offers
This is Trackdesk's home game: deep S2S postbacks with logs and testers, gclid/fbclid/ttclid capture, traffic-control rulesets, multi-currency offers, an offer marketplace, and iGaming editions. Rekomi is not built for network-style operations.
Former Trackdesk free-plan or Starter customer facing the new pricing
The $0 and $67 entry points you signed up for are retired, and the ladder now starts at $329. Rekomi's $19 Starter and $39 Growth cover the same program size with managed payouts and tax prep included, and Rekomi's dedicated Trackdesk importer brings the roster and history across (grandfathered plans without API access use the documented affiliates.csv export through its CSV fallback).
Brand that needs 365-day attribution windows or ad-platform click IDs
Trackdesk's configurable 1-365 day cookies, optional unlimited server-side attribution, and native click-ID capture are genuinely ahead of Rekomi here. If long windows and paid-social attribution are hard requirements, weigh them against the payout and tax gap.
Where the modern build pays off.
The pillars below summarise the side-by-side above. We keep the read honest by including the cases where Trackdesk still wins today.
Our case.
Shape and total cost for subscription brands. Entry at $19 versus $329, with no tracked-revenue caps forcing tier jumps. Managed payouts on every plan over Stripe Express and PayPal, with W-9 collection and year-end 1099-NEC prep, versus brand-executed settlements through your own Tipalti or PayPal accounts with no tax handling documented. IP-reputation fraud scoring built in, versus rule-based checks with VPN/proxy detection left to a third-party add-on. Uncapped coupon attribution on every plan, versus 100 tracked coupons at $329. And the curated network plus co-pilot, included from Starter.
What both ship.
Stripe-native tracking, refund-aware attribution, signed S2S hooks, and standard commission models. Both tools clear the bar on the table-stakes. The differences live in everything built on top of that foundation.
No spin.
Tracking depth and shipping pace. S2S postbacks with logs and an end-to-end tester, ad click-ID capture, attribution configurable to 365 days plus server-side expiration, multi-currency offers with FX settlement options, traffic-control rulesets, an offer marketplace, iGaming and network editions, ISO 27001, and a 2026 feature cadence that includes an MCP server and AI commission tooling. Unlimited affiliates, clicks, and conversions on every plan is also a stronger unlimited than most competitors offer.
Our straight answer.
Match the tool to the business you actually run. Trackdesk is a network-grade tracker, and for postback-driven performance operations it is excellent and fairly priced. For a SaaS or subscription brand running an affiliate program, the arithmetic is stark: $329/mo buys tracking alone, while $19-99 flat plus 3% on Rekomi buys tracking plus the payout rail, tax prep, fraud layer, and network, with a dedicated Trackdesk importer for the move. And if you came to this page because the free plan you joined on disappeared, the documented history below is your context: entry pricing moved from $0 to $329 in about fifteen months; Rekomi's published entry price is $19 flat.
Common questions.
Is Trackdesk still free until you reach revenue?
No. The free-until-$1,000-monthly-revenue plan appeared on Trackdesk's pricing page as recently as April 2025 (alongside a $67 Starter), but as of our fact-check the live pricing page lists no free plan: Business at $329/mo, Enterprise at $499 with tiered talk-to-sales pricing, and Enterprise PLUS from $1,199; Business and Enterprise carry a 14-day trial. Many third-party review sites still describe the old structure; the archived pages tell the real story, dated in the timeline on this page.
What does Trackdesk cost above $30K/mo in program revenue?
Unpublished. Business covers tracked program revenue up to $30K/mo; beyond that, Enterprise pricing is tiered via sales conversations. For reference, Trackdesk's December 2025 pricing page published $50K and $100K revenue tiers, with Enterprise Plus at $1,999 for the $100K-and-up tier, before those figures were removed. Rekomi has no revenue-based tiers: plans are $19-99 flat with a 3% fee on payouts only.
Who pays affiliates on Trackdesk?
You do. Trackdesk's documentation describes copying payment data or exporting CSVs and settling through your chosen method; automation exists via Tipalti but requires your own active Tipalti account (Business plan and up), PayPal runs through your own Mass Pay, and crypto through the Confirmo integration. No W-9, W-8, or 1099 handling is documented. Rekomi pays affiliates on every plan via Stripe Express and PayPal and preps US 1099-NECs at year end (W-9s collected in onboarding, candidates worksheet for your accountant).
How do the fraud systems compare?
Trackdesk ships 13 rule-based detections, on by default and configurable: datacenter-IP flagging, crawler detection, click flooding, too-fast conversions, duplicate registration IPs, and self-referral signals. What it does not include natively is IP-reputation scoring for proxies and VPNs; Trackdesk offers a third-party Anura integration for deeper invalid-traffic blocking. Rekomi scores every click and lead against live IP reputation (proxy, VPN, Tor, datacenter, bot) on every plan and quarantines high-risk events before payout.
How does migration from Trackdesk work?
Through Rekomi's dedicated Trackdesk importer: paste your tenant ID (your program's subdomain) and a personal access token, and one pull imports your roster with each affiliate's public Affiliate ID preserved as their Rekomi slug, plus statuses, per-affiliate click totals for the 3-year window, and up to 3 years of conversion history as settled records (refunded, rejected, fraud, and test conversions never import). Trackdesk API access needs their Business plan or higher; grandfathered free or Starter tenants upload the documented affiliates.csv export through the importer's CSV fallback instead. See /docs/brands/migrations/trackdesk.
Is Rekomi's tracking as capable as Trackdesk's?
For affiliate programs, yes; for network operations, no, and we would rather be precise about it. Rekomi covers first-party link tracking on custom domains, coupon attribution, signed S2S conversion hooks, configurable windows and stickiness, and native billing integrations. Trackdesk goes further on network-style tracking: postback infrastructure, click-ID capture, 365-day windows, traffic rulesets, and offer management. If those are your requirements, Trackdesk is the right tool and this page says so plainly.
What changed at Trackdesk over the past year?
A lot, in both directions. Product: an MCP server, AI commission calculator, affiliate ticketing, configurable fraud rules, settlement statuses, Report Builder and Offer APIs, and more (their release notes are genuinely busy). Pricing: the free plan was retired between the April and October 2025 pricing snapshots, the $67 Starter disappeared by March 2026, and the Business plan rose from $249 to $329 by July 2026, changes visible in archived pricing pages rather than release notes.

Network tracker vs subscription platform.
Neither product is pretending to be the other. Map your requirements to the right column and the decision usually makes itself.
Switching from Trackdesk, one API pull.
Rekomi ships a dedicated Trackdesk importer: paste your tenant ID and a personal access token, and one pull brings the roster, up to 3 years of conversions, and click totals across.
- The pull imports your roster with each affiliate's public Affiliate ID preserved as their Rekomi slug, plus statuses, PayPal emails where Trackdesk exposes them, and per-affiliate click totals for the same 3-year window from the overview report.
- Up to 3 years of conversions import as settled records with per-row currency; refunded, rejected, fraud-flagged, and test conversions never import, and settlement-backed rows carry a paid date. Nothing becomes payable without your explicit authorization.
- Trackdesk API access needs their Business plan or higher; grandfathered free or Starter tenants use the documented affiliates.csv export through the importer's CSV fallback instead.
- Honest link caveat: Trackdesk-hosted redirect links cannot carry over (custom redirect domains can be re-pointed); direct links load fine, and the auto-notify email hands each affiliate their Rekomi link.
