1. Scope
This Acceptable Use Policy (the “Policy”) applies to all use of Rekomi (the “Service”), by Brands, Affiliates, and anyone acting on their behalf. It supplements, and is incorporated into, the Brand Terms and the Affiliate Terms. Capitalized terms have the meanings given in those documents.
2. Prohibited activity
You may not, and may not permit any Affiliate, Brand, or third party to:
- run programs or promotions that are illegal, defraud users, or mislead Customers;
- harvest or process personal data without a lawful basis or required consent;
- send unsolicited bulk communications (spam) or otherwise violate applicable anti-spam law (for example CAN-SPAM, CASL, or GDPR and ePrivacy rules);
- reverse engineer, scrape, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its underlying systems;
- interfere with, overload, or disrupt the Service, including circumventing rate limits or security controls;
- transmit malware, or infringe the intellectual property, privacy, or other rights of any party;
- resell, sublicense, or provide the Service to third parties except as expressly permitted;
- promote a Brand without the clear and conspicuous disclosures required by the FTC Endorsement Guides (16 CFR Part 255) and equivalent laws; or
- direct payouts to, or transact on behalf of, sanctioned persons or jurisdictions.
3. Attribution and payout fraud
Because Rekomi pays real money on tracked activity, the following are specifically prohibited and any resulting commissions are not earned and may be reversed or forfeited:
- generating fake or non-genuine clicks, leads, conversions, or accounts;
- cookie stuffing, forced clicks, hidden or auto-loading referral links, and iframe stuffing;
- self-referral or self-dealing where prohibited by a Brand’s program, including referring your own purchases through your own link or code;
- typosquatting, brand-name or trademark keyword bidding in violation of a Brand’s terms, and other parasiteware that intercepts traffic the Brand would have earned anyway;
- misrepresenting the source, quality, or intent of traffic, or manipulating attribution in any other way;
- using bots, click farms, incentivized traffic, or anonymizing infrastructure to inflate metrics.
4. Enforcement
We may investigate suspected violations and, at our discretion, remove content, throttle or suspend access, reverse or withhold affected commissions and payouts, terminate accounts, and report unlawful activity to the appropriate authorities. For material or repeated breaches we may act without prior notice. Nothing in this Policy limits the remedies available to us under the Brand Terms or Affiliate Terms.
5. Reporting abuse
To report a suspected violation of this Policy, contact support@rekomi.com. For security vulnerabilities, see our security disclosure page.
