Type “affiliate” into the BigCommerce App Marketplace and you get eight listings, and they’re not eight versions of the same thing. One is a connector to a publisher network, one is a partnership platform built for enterprise budgets, and the other six do the job most stores mean by “affiliate app”, so recruiting affiliates, tracking their sales and paying commissions, at anywhere from free to $749 a month. So here’s the sorted version: what each BigCommerce affiliate app actually does on your store, what it costs on the live listing this week, and who ends up doing the least fun part, which is paying people. After the eight, the four tools people search for that connect to BigCommerce from outside the marketplace.
One thing to know before the ranking. I helped build Rekomi, its app was approved into this exact category this week, and it’s first on the list, so read my order with that in mind. Every price below comes off the live listing or the vendor’s pricing page as of late September 2026, and every app here gets a “keep in mind”, including ours.
TL;DR, the three I’d shortlist first: Rekomi if you want the payouts and the tax forms off your plate at a flat price, Goaffpro if you want a free start with a real feature set, and LeadDyno if a long review history is what helps you sleep.
What the marketplace review checks (and why you should too)
Here’s the useful thing about having just been through BigCommerce’s app review: I know what they look for, and it’s a very good checklist for picking an app. Four things came up, and they map straight onto whether your program will track reliably.
Where the scripts run. BigCommerce lets an app register scripts on specific pages. The good pattern is a click script on storefront pages plus a small script on the order confirmation page, and nothing on the checkout steps. The review asks about this because an app that injects on “all pages” needs checkout access it shouldn’t have.
Whether it’s a pixel or a webhook. A confirmation-page pixel is one signal, and it’s a fragile one – ad blockers, a closed tab, a shopper who declined cookies all kill it. BigCommerce gives apps order webhooks, so a well-built app records the sale from the store’s own order events and uses the pixel only to tie the order to the click.
Cookie consent. Every script has a consent category on BigCommerce. Register it under Analytics and it runs once the shopper accepts; leave it blank and it silently never runs on stores with a consent banner. This is the failure mode nobody notices until month-end looks light.
How you get billed. Some apps bill through your BigCommerce invoice, which BigCommerce calls Unified Billing, and some bill on their own site. Neither is wrong, but the first one needs a paid BigCommerce plan and the second one works on a trial store.
Ask any vendor those four questions and you’ll know more about the app than the listing tells you.

The eight BigCommerce affiliate apps, one at a time
1. Rekomi Affiliate Marketing

Rekomi Affiliate Marketing is the newest listing in the category, and it’s built around the one job the other apps hand back to you: it pays your BigCommerce affiliates for you. Affiliates connect their own payout method, Rekomi collects their tax forms at onboarding and handles the 1099-NEC work every January, and you approve commissions instead of running a payout spreadsheet.
Best for: stores that want the after-the-sale work, so payouts, tax forms and refund clawbacks, done for them at a flat price.
Pricing: $29, $49 or $99 a month plus 3% of the affiliate payouts, billed through your BigCommerce invoice with a 14-day free trial. Unlimited affiliates on every plan.
On BigCommerce specifically:
- Commissions mint from your store’s own order webhooks on the pre-tax total; the confirmation-page beacon only ties the order to the click.
- Affiliate coupon codes are created as real BigCommerce promotions, so a code typed at checkout credits the affiliate with no click at all.
- Both scripts register in the Analytics consent category, and the app never asks for checkout access.
- Full and partial refunds claw commission back on their own.
Keep in mind: it’s the newest app here with zero marketplace reviews as I write this, and because it bills through BigCommerce, your store needs a paid BigCommerce plan, because trial stores can’t be invoiced for apps. Coupon codes are cart-wide, a BigCommerce rule for promotions. The BigCommerce integration page has the full feature list, and the BigCommerce affiliate program guide walks the setup step by step.
Bottom line: if “who pays the affiliates” is the question that’s kept you from starting, this is the one built to answer it.
2. LeadDyno

LeadDyno has more BigCommerce reviews than every other app in this category combined, 123 of them at 4.4 stars, which tells you it’s been here the longest and merchants keep it. The listing describes first-party tracking synced with BigCommerce webhooks, which is the right architecture.
Best for: stores that want the most road-tested option and a long trial to prove it.
Pricing: Lite at $49/mo for 50 active affiliates, Essential at $129/mo for 150, Advanced at $349/mo for 500, Unlimited at $749/mo, all with unlimited clicks and conversions and a 30-day free trial.
On BigCommerce specifically:
- Webhook-synced tracking with tiered, flat and percentage commission structures.
- 25+ no-code integrations, so email and CRM tools are covered.
- The listing was last updated in October 2025, so check the app’s changelog for anything newer.
Keep in mind: the price scales with active affiliates, not sales, so a program with 200 modest partners costs more than one with 20 big ones. Payout details aren’t on the pricing page, so ask how affiliates actually get their money before you commit.
Bottom line: the safe, established pick; you’ll pay for roster size rather than results.
3. Goaffpro

Goaffpro is the free start that’s actually free: the Hobby plan has no monthly fee, unlimited affiliates and unlimited sales, up to 100 orders a day. Its 4.7-star rating across 34 reviews is the best in the category, and I’ll happily say the feature list is deep for a free tool. I love that the free plan is free without an asterisk!
Best for: stores that want to prove the channel works before paying anything.
Pricing: Hobby is free under 100 daily orders; Premium is $49/mo; Business starts at $99/mo; Enterprise is custom. No percentage fees are listed.
On BigCommerce specifically:
- A branded affiliate portal in 10+ languages, custom commissions by product, category or affiliate, and automatic coupons.
- Multi-level marketing up to 10 levels, if that’s your model.
- A post-checkout popup that invites customers to become affiliates.
Keep in mind: the free plan has the basic portal, and the payout scheduler and tax plugin sit on Premium, so paying affiliates on the free tier is a manual job. The 100 daily orders line is the one to watch as you grow.
Bottom line: the best free way to find out whether affiliates will move product for you.
Quick observation halfway through the list – notice how each app has picked a different thing to charge you for: payouts, affiliates, orders or revenue. None of those is wrong, but each one gets expensive at a different point, so match the meter to how your program will actually grow.
4. Refersion

Refersion is a big name in ecommerce affiliate software, and the listing reads like a mature product: first-party tracking with links, coupon codes, email and SKU attribution, unlimited affiliates on every plan, and 1099 automation for your US affiliates.
Best for: stores that already know Refersion from Shopify and want the same setup on BigCommerce.
Pricing: Launch at $39/mo plus 3% of affiliate-driven sales, or $29/mo billed annually, Growth at $199/mo plus 2%, and a custom flat-rate Scale tier for brands past $1M a year. The listing shows a 14-day free trial.
On BigCommerce specifically:
- Several attribution methods on one order, which matters for coupon-heavy influencer programs.
- Payouts via PayPal, Venmo, Zelle, ACH or Trolley, run from their dashboard.
- A free marketplace listing where affiliates can find your program.
Keep in mind: the percentage is on affiliate-driven sales and it’s uncapped, so a $50,000 affiliate month costs $1,500 on top of the $39. Run that math against a flat-price option before you decide it’s cheap. Only five reviews on this listing, so most of its reputation comes from other platforms.
Bottom line: feature-rich and familiar, with a fee that grows exactly as fast as your program does.
5. Affiliatly

Affiliatly is the budget pick, and an honest one: free up to 50 tracked orders a month, then plans from $16 to $129 a month, all with a 14-day trial. It has 4.6 stars across 14 reviews and the listing was updated this week, so it’s actively maintained.
Best for: small stores that want the cheapest paid tier that still does links, codes and payouts.
Pricing: free to 50 tracked orders, then Starter at $16/mo up to Pro Unlimited at $129/mo. No percentage fees are listed.
On BigCommerce specifically:
- Tracking by link, QR code, coupon code or customer email, which covers offline promotion too.
- Commissions per visit, percentage or flat, with product exclusions.
- A post-checkout popup to recruit buyers as affiliates.
Keep in mind: the price scales with tracked orders, and payouts go through PayPal only – affiliates outside PayPal’s reach need another arrangement. Tax forms aren’t mentioned on the listing.
Bottom line: great value for a small program; you’ll outgrow the payout side before the tracking side.
6. GrowthHero

GrowthHero is another 2026 arrival on BigCommerce, its listing went live in September, with a white-label portal, tiered partner rewards, fraud prevention and a “hunt” tool for finding affiliates. No reviews yet, same as us.
Best for: stores that want tiers and recruitment tooling and don’t need a track record on this platform.
Pricing: Starter at $49/mo for 100 partner sales a month, Pro at $99/mo for 250, Premium at $199/mo unlimited. The vendor’s own site says there are no commission or percentage fees, and the listing shows a 14-day trial.
On BigCommerce specifically:
- Tier-based rewards and campaigns, plus multi-level programs.
- PayPal, Mailchimp, Klaviyo and SendGrid integrations, with Zapier and an API for the rest.
- Fixed-fee payouts are counted per plan, 10 a month on Starter, so creator deals paid per post eat into that allowance.
Keep in mind: the sales caps are the meter here: 100 partner sales a month on Starter means a good program moves you to $99 quickly. And it’s as new to BigCommerce as we are, so expect the first months to surface platform-specific rough edges.
Bottom line: a modern feature set with a per-sale ceiling on each plan; good if your volume is predictable.
7. Affiliate and Influencer by impact.com

impact.com is the enterprise partnership platform, and this listing is its self-serve door: custom signup pages, promo codes and links, automated messaging, and automated payouts in 70+ currencies. Two reviews, both five stars.
Best for: stores that also run publisher, influencer and B2B partnerships and want them in one contract-driven system.
Pricing: “from $30/month” on the listing. On impact.com’s own pricing, the starter tier also takes a percentage of what you pay partners plus a transaction fee, so read their fee page before you assume $30 is the number.
On BigCommerce specifically:
- Payouts handled by impact.com, across currencies, with contracts and terms per partner.
- Reporting built for partnership teams rather than a single affiliate manager.
- A single-click install on the marketplace.
Keep in mind: it’s a partnership platform, not a small-store affiliate app; the workflow assumes someone owns partnerships as a job. Their entry plan also has no marketplace access for finding affiliates.
Bottom line: the right tool when affiliates are one channel among several partner types, and overkill when they’re the whole program.
8. FlexOffers Affiliate Marketing
FlexOffers Affiliate Marketing is a different animal from the other seven. It doesn’t run your own program; it connects your store to the FlexOffers publisher network so their bloggers and influencers can promote you, and it tracks those sales. The app is free for FlexOffers advertisers, and the listing hasn’t been updated since January 2025.
Best for: stores that want access to a large existing network of publishers and are happy to pay the network’s fees.
Pricing: custom, through your FlexOffers advertiser account; the app itself is free.
Keep in mind: you’re joining a network, with the network’s terms, fees and publisher approval process. It complements a program you run yourself rather than replacing it.
Bottom line: a network connector, not program software; useful once you have a program worth sending publishers to.
Four tools that connect from outside the marketplace
Search “BigCommerce affiliate plugin” and most of what ranks isn’t in the marketplace at all. These are real products with BigCommerce integrations; they just live in their own dashboards.
- Tapfiliate connects through BigCommerce’s API following its own integration guide. Launch is $89/mo for 5,000 clicks and 500 conversions, Scale is $179/mo for 100,000 clicks and 10,000 conversions, with overage fees past those, and automated payouts through Trolley on Scale.
- Trackdesk has you authorize your store from the Trackdesk dashboard. Business is $299/mo, with a 14-day free trial and unlimited clicks; it’s priced for programs that already have volume.
- Post Affiliate Pro lists BigCommerce among its integrations. Starter is $89/mo for 10,000 tracking requests a month, Pro is $139/mo, and every plan includes setup help and mass payments.
- iDevAffiliate is the self-hosted veteran with a BigCommerce integration page; its pricing page wouldn’t load for me this week, so check it directly.
The trade-off is simple. An outside tool gives you one dashboard across every platform you sell on, which is genuinely handy for multi-store brands. A marketplace app lives inside the control panel, bills where your other apps bill, and gets reviewed by BigCommerce for how it handles your store’s scripts and data.
How to choose
- Just testing the channel: Goaffpro’s free plan or Affiliatly’s free tier. Zero risk, real tracking.
- You never want to run a payout again: Rekomi (payouts, tax forms and refund clawbacks included) or Refersion (payouts from their dashboard, 1099 automation).
- A big roster of small partners: watch the meter. LeadDyno charges per active affiliate; Rekomi and Refersion don’t.
- Partnerships are a department: impact.com.
- You want publishers you don’t have to recruit: FlexOffers, alongside a program of your own.
- Multiple platforms, one dashboard: Tapfiliate or Post Affiliate Pro from outside the marketplace.
Quick answers
Is there a BigCommerce affiliate plugin?
No, BigCommerce doesn’t use plugins; it uses apps from the App Marketplace, which install in one click and can register scripts and webhooks on your store for you. Everything people call a “BigCommerce affiliate plugin” is either one of the eight apps above or an outside tool connected through the API.
Does BigCommerce have a built-in affiliate program feature?
No. There’s no native way to recruit affiliates, track their sales or pay them, which is why this category exists. BigCommerce’s own affiliate program, the one that paid people for referring merchants to BigCommerce, closed in May 2025 and isn’t what this article is about.
How do I manage affiliate marketing programs on BigCommerce?
From inside the app you install. Every app here gives you a place in your control panel, or in its own dashboard, to approve affiliates, set commission rules, see referred orders, and handle payouts. The differences are in what the app does automatically, and payouts are where they differ most.
Do these apps work on Blueprint themes?
Mostly through webhooks. BigCommerce doesn’t render app-injected scripts on legacy Blueprint themes, so click tracking needs a manual snippet in the theme, while order tracking through webhooks still works. Stencil themes, which means Cornerstone and everything modern, are automatic.
Do I need a paid BigCommerce plan?
Only for apps billed through your BigCommerce invoice, because BigCommerce won’t invoice a trial or free store for apps. Apps billed on the vendor’s own site work on a trial store.
Pick one, place one order
Every app above has a free trial or a free tier, so the real test costs nothing: install one, create a campaign, open your storefront through your own affiliate link, and place a small order. If the sale lands in the app within a minute and a refund reverses the commission, you’ve found your app. If it doesn’t, you’ve saved yourself a quarter of wondering where the sales went!
