Light-touch affiliate program on top of MailerLite's clean automation builder.
Rekomi adds approved affiliates to a MailerLite group with the right status, the right name fields, and the right hooks for your existing automations. Simple stack, real commissions, no enterprise complexity.

From paste-API-key to first paid affiliate in 10 minutes.
Paste your MailerLite API key into Rekomi. Rekomi runs a test call to verify the key, then pulls your list/audience picker live from MailerLite so you pick the right destination.
Affiliates apply via your public landing page or your bulk invite. Approve them manually, auto-approve on a campaign, or import an existing affiliate CSV from Rewardful.
Approved affiliates land in your MailerLite list as tagged subscribers within seconds. Rekomi handles idempotency, retries, and per-campaign overrides; you handle the nurture sequence.
The exact MailerLite fields Rekomi writes.
No surprise fields, no overwrites of contact data you already have. Empty values are omitted so existing nurture data is preserved.

What MailerLite customers actually do with Rekomi.
Group-triggered automation as the entire onboarding
Build one MailerLite automation triggered by 'added to Affiliate group': welcome email, wait 2 days, send tracking-link guide, wait 5 days, send first-month performance check. Rekomi adds the affiliate to the group; MailerLite runs the rest. The simplest possible setup that actually works.
Personalized affiliate digest via MailerLite's e-commerce blocks
MailerLite's e-commerce blocks let you personalize emails with subscriber-specific product data. Combine with Rekomi's webhook events to send weekly performance digests: 'You earned $X this week from Y referrals.' Custom field pre-loaded from Rekomi.
ConvertKit-style sequence pattern, MailerLite price
If you've been considering Kit or ConvertKit but balked at the price, MailerLite's automation builder is functionally similar at a fraction of the cost. Rekomi works the same way on either. Smart cohort + drip sequence + tagging + affiliate program on the indie-creator budget.
Rekomi handles MailerLite's edge cases so you don't have to.
Every CRM API has quirks. Rekomi's integration code was built and audited against the live MailerLitedocs, these are the ones you'd otherwise hit yourself.
MailerLite doesn't store API tokens in plaintext after issuance. If you lose the token, your only option is to regenerate (Rekomi's stored ciphertext is now stale; disconnect MailerLite in Rekomi and reconnect with the new token). The connect form's helper text spells this out before you generate.
MailerLite's contact fields split as `fields.name` (first) and `fields.last_name` (last), not the more common `first_name`/`last_name`. Rekomi maps automatically; if you build a MailerLite automation that personalizes 'Hi {$fields.name}', it works as expected.
MailerLite uses 'groups' instead of 'lists' but they function the same way. Rekomi's connect-flow picker says 'group' to match MailerLite's UI, with a tooltip explaining the terminology so you don't second-guess the choice.
Built for indie creators, side-project operators, and bootstrapped SaaS on MailerLite's free or growing-business tier ($10-50/month). If your email stack is intentionally simple and your budget is intentionally tight, Rekomi keeps the affiliate program in the same simplicity bracket, single $49/month for unlimited affiliates.
Common MailerLite questions.
Does MailerLite have an affiliate program?
MailerLite runs an affiliate program (20% recurring) for promoting MailerLite itself. That's separate from running YOUR affiliate program. Rekomi is the platform for the latter, with MailerLite as the email home for your affiliate cohort.
Will MailerLite block transactional emails for affiliate programs?
No, your affiliates have explicitly opted into your program (Rekomi captures consent on the accept page), so sending them program-related emails via MailerLite is straightforward marketing-email territory. MailerLite restricts purely transactional sends (order receipts, password resets) which should run through a dedicated transactional service like Brevo Transactional or SendGrid.
What's the minimum MailerLite plan?
API access ships on the free plan (up to 1,000 subscribers + 12,000 emails/month). For paid programs, Growing Business plan at $10/month removes most limits. Rekomi works on either, start free, upgrade when your subscriber count grows.
Old MailerLite or new MailerLite?
Rekomi targets the new MailerLite (Classic was sunset in 2023). The API base is `connect.mailerlite.com`. If your account is still on the old MailerLite Classic, migrate to new MailerLite first, MailerLite's migration tool handles the move in a few clicks.
