Give every facilitator or member a personal link. Rekomi tracks clicks and signups, then upserts each referred person into HighLevel with the referring facilitator on the contact, so your booking, nurture and no-show workflows can reference `{{contact.rekomi_referring_affiliate}}` in emails and SMS. Set the campaign to 0% if you do not pay commissions; the attribution still flows.
Affiliate onboarding sequence with the link merged in
When an affiliate is approved, HighLevel receives the contact with `Rekomi referral link` filled in. Your workflow sends the welcome email with `{{contact.rekomi_referral_link}}` merged, adds them to a pipeline stage, and reminds them in 7 days if the link has not been shared. Rekomi handles the tracking; HighLevel handles the conversation.
Close the loop on leads captured by HighLevel forms
Your landing page captures leads with a HighLevel form and a hidden `via` field. Add a Webhook action to that workflow pointing at your Rekomi inbound URL and the lead is credited to the affiliate in Rekomi immediately, no tracking script on the form page required. When the lead later buys, Rekomi's email-match attribution pays the commission.

Every CRM API has quirks. Rekomi's integration code was built and audited against the live GoHighLeveldocs, these are the ones you'd otherwise hit yourself.
HighLevel's v2 API uses per-sub-account Private Integration tokens (they start with `pit-`). The connect form rejects agency keys and legacy v1 keys before making any call. Create the token under Sub-account Settings, then Private Integrations, with the contacts and custom fields scopes.
In HighLevel, a `tags` array on the upsert body replaces the contact's existing tags. Rekomi deliberately leaves tags off the upsert and calls the additive tags endpoint afterwards, so the tags your own workflows applied survive every sync.
Rekomi looks up the location's contact custom fields and creates any `Rekomi ...` field that is missing (text fields on the contact model). If you prefer to create them yourself first, use the exact names and Rekomi will reuse them. Merge-field keys follow HighLevel's convention, for example `{{contact.rekomi_referral_link}}`.
HighLevel allows 100 requests per 10 seconds and 200k per day per location. Rekomi's worker paces syncs and honors `Retry-After` on 429, so a bulk approval of a few hundred affiliates completes in minutes without tripping the limit.

Does GoHighLevel have a built-in affiliate program feature?
HighLevel has an Affiliate Manager for its own SaaS-mode resellers, aimed at agencies reselling HighLevel. It is not a general affiliate program for your product or service. Rekomi runs the program (links, click and conversion tracking, commission rules, fraud checks, payouts) and pushes the results into HighLevel as contacts and custom fields.
Can referred customers show up in HighLevel with the person who referred them?
Yes. Turn on Sync referred customers on the GoHighLevel integration page. Every sale or lead Rekomi attributes creates or updates the customer contact in your location with `Rekomi referring affiliate`, `Rekomi referring affiliate slug` and `Rekomi last event` filled in, tagged `Rekomi customer` or `Rekomi lead`.
Do I need the Rekomi tracking script on my site?
For click tracking and automatic sale attribution, yes, the one-line script goes on your site. If your signup happens in a HighLevel form or funnel, you can instead send a workflow webhook to your Rekomi inbound URL with the email and the affiliate slug, and Rekomi records the lead without any script on that page.
Which HighLevel plan do I need?
Any plan with sub-account API access works. Private Integrations are available on standard and agency plans. Rekomi only needs the contacts and custom fields scopes, and everything is per sub-account (Location), so one Rekomi brand connects to one location.
