Every CRM API has quirks. Rekomi's integration code was built and audited against the live GetResponsedocs, these are the ones you'd otherwise hit yourself.
GetResponse's contact schema uses one `name` field for the whole name, unlike Mailchimp's merge_fields.FNAME/LNAME split. Rekomi concatenates first + last name before pushing so the contact lands with a full name in the natural position.
GetResponse silently expires API keys after 90 days of no calls. If your Rekomi-to-GetResponse sync stops working after a long gap, the cause is almost always a stale key. The Rekomi connect-page Test button surfaces this immediately, re-issue the key in GetResponse and reconnect.
Each GetResponse campaign sets its own confirmation requirement. For affiliate-program contacts (who've already explicitly accepted your terms via the Rekomi accept page), single opt-in is the safe choice, no second confirmation needed. Rekomi syncs cleanly to either, but expect double opt-in campaigns to show 'pending' until the affiliate confirms.
GetResponse returns 409 with code 1008 when the contact is already subscribed to the campaign. Rekomi treats this as a successful sync (the goal was the contact being there). Re-fire a failed sync 20 times and you still have one contact, one tag, one nurture sequence.

Can I run an affiliate program inside GetResponse?
GetResponse doesn't ship a built-in affiliate-commission engine for your customers, that's where Rekomi fits in. Rekomi handles application, approval, tracking link generation, click + conversion attribution, commission math, refund mirror, Stripe Connect payouts, and 1099-NEC exports. GetResponse handles the emails to the affiliates.
Will affiliates trigger my existing webinar funnel?
Only if your autoresponder cycle includes affiliates by default. Most brands run a separate campaign for affiliates so the webinar funnel doesn't re-fire on your existing audience. What if the affiliate's confirmation email goes to spam?
If you've set your GetResponse campaign to double opt-in, the affiliate's confirmation email could land in spam, they'd show as `Pending Confirmation` in GetResponse. Rekomi marks the affiliate as `Synced (pending confirm)` so you know to follow up. For affiliates who've already accepted Rekomi's program terms, single opt-in is the safe default.
