CRM integration

Tag-driven affiliate workflows on Drip's e-commerce automation engine.

Drip's account-wide model + tag-based segmentation is perfect for affiliate cohorts. Rekomi upserts approved affiliates with `Rekomi affiliate` tag plus any campaign extras, your existing Drip workflows fire on tag-add and your e-commerce data stays in the same graph.

How it works

From paste-API-key to first paid affiliate in 10 minutes.

01 / 03
Connect

Paste your Drip API key into Rekomi. Rekomi runs a test call to verify the key, then pulls your list/audience picker live from Drip so you pick the right destination.

02 / 03
Approve

Affiliates apply via your public landing page or your bulk invite. Approve them manually, auto-approve on a campaign, or import an existing affiliate roster from Rewardful and six other platforms via Settings > Migrate.

03 / 03
Sync

Approved affiliates land in your Drip list as tagged subscribers within seconds. Rekomi handles idempotency, retries, and per-campaign overrides; you handle the nurture sequence.

What syncs

The exact Drip fields Rekomi writes.

No surprise fields, no overwrites of contact data you already have. Empty values are omitted so existing nurture data is preserved.

  • Subscribers payload via POST /v2/{accountId}/subscribers with array-wrapped subscriber object
  • email, first_name, last_name, standard Drip subscriber fields
  • tags: ["Rekomi affiliate", ...], additive: re-applying the same tag is a no-op
  • Idempotent upsert: returns 200 with the existing subscriber updated; no duplicates
  • Account ID required in URL, Rekomi's connect form captures it as a separate field (sourced from the Drip dashboard URL)
Three use-cases

What Drip customers actually do with Rekomi.

Use-case 01

Shopify-customer to affiliate tag flow

Drip's Shopify integration tags customers with their lifetime value bucket. Build a workflow on `Tag added: rekomi-affiliate AND ltv-high`: send a top-tier affiliate welcome. LTV-high customers get a higher commission; the segmentation reuses your existing e-commerce graph.

Paired commission
Tiered RevShare keyed on Drip LTV tag (10% / 15% / 25%)
Use-case 02

Browse-abandonment affiliate-program suggest

When Drip's browse-abandonment workflow detects 3+ unique product views without purchase, offer an affiliate-program entry. The visitor earns from recommending the product to friends instead of buying it themselves. Common pattern in beauty + DTC.

Paired commission
Hybrid: $5 first-conversion + 12% RevShare ongoing
Use-case 03

Multi-shop tagging via shared Drip account

Agencies running multiple Shopify stores in one Drip account can use per-campaign overrides to tag affiliates with store-specific labels. The same Drip account stays clean; segments + workflows partition automatically.

Paired commission
Per-store RevShare + agency override per campaign
Provider-specific handling

Rekomi handles Drip's edge cases so you don't have to.

Every CRM API has quirks. Rekomi's integration code was built and audited against the live Dripdocs, these are the ones you'd otherwise hit yourself.

Wrong endpoint shape is a common trap

Drip's correct subscribe endpoint is `POST /v2/{accountId}/subscribers` (account ID in URL path). A common mistake is `POST /v2/{accountId}/accounts` which 404s. Rekomi's path is fixed in the provider code; you can't accidentally misroute.

Personal Access Token, not username/password

Drip's API authenticates with a Personal Access Token from User Settings → API. Basic-auth-style credentials (email + password) don't work via the v2 API. Rekomi's connect form makes the token-only requirement explicit.

Subscribers wrapped in array

Drip's body wants `{subscribers: [{...}]}` even when sending a single subscriber. Rekomi handles the array-wrap; the resulting response unwraps the single subscriber so the integration code stays single-subscriber-friendly.

Who this is for

Built for Shopify DTC stores and agencies running Drip Pro ($39+/month) with active workflows + Shopify sync. If Drip is your customer-data layer for an e-commerce brand, Rekomi adds the affiliate-program revenue layer to that same data plane.

FAQ

Common Drip questions.

Does Drip have an affiliate program?

Drip runs a Partner Program (20% recurring) for promoting Drip itself. Rekomi is the layer that lets you run YOUR affiliate program on YOUR Shopify store, with Drip as the email + automation home for your affiliate cohort.

Will affiliates trigger my abandoned-cart automations?

Only if your abandoned-cart workflow doesn't exclude the `Rekomi affiliate` tag. Most brands add an exclusion so abandoned-cart emails don't fire on affiliates (who tend to add products to cart for screenshot purposes). Rekomi adds the tag; you control the workflow filtering.

Which Drip plan do I need?

Any paid Drip plan has API access. Drip's Starter plan ($39/month) is the minimum. If you're already syncing Shopify orders into Drip, you have everything Rekomi needs.
